A Concert of works by PhD composers at the School of Music and Sonic Arts. All works featured various saxophones, accordion, electronics plus two network pieces with New York.

Sonorities 2010

Photos from some very wonderful concerts, celebrating artistic collaboration in the context of the Comedia Culture 2007 European project. Showcase Concert February 2010

I had a smashing concert in February 2010 (25th) at SARC, in which I showcased recent (2009-2010) works by current PhD composers at the School of Music and Sonic Arts.
The concert featured compositions for saxophones, accordion, live-electronics, toy drum kit and visuals. I performed works by Miguel Angel Ortiz Pérez, Manuela Meier, Justin Yang, Patricia Alessandrini with Shirin Abu Shaqra's visuals and a work by Steve Davis.

HERA Meeting Berlin 2009

December 14-15, HERA meeting, Berlin.

The venue was just so beautiful, at the Schloss Charlottenburg.
I played a short graphic score piece by Pedro Rebelo for the opening of the dinner.
What a very nicely set dinner, beautifully starched table cloths. All perfect.
And yes, the talks the next day were very inspiring!!!

Budapest

December 2009
Trip as part of COMEDIA, meeting in Budapest and final concert with local musicians.
Making Music in the Global Village Conference.
Great conference, very nice stay and intimate conversations with the network crowd.

ResoNations Network Concert

The biggest network endeavour yet!
A 5 site network performance sponsored by the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
On the 20/21 November 2009 musicians in Belfast, San Diego, Banff, New York and Seoul came together for a mammoth program. More details on the original website.

Ars Electronica Concert

Just back from an amazing space (Deep Space) at the Ars Electronica Concert in Linz. Concert with Pedro Rebelo and PhD students Imogene Newland and Orestis Karamanlis.

A really wonderful performance of Karl-Heinz Stockhausen's "Tierkreis"... Imogene and myself performed at the 2009 Sonorities Festival in Belfast.
